After years of yo-yo dieting and feeling unhappy in her own skin, Amanda Lamb decided enough was enough.

The television presenter, who is best known for her work on ITV’s This Morning, set herself a goal to lose weight and get healthy – and she’s since dropped an incredible 1st.

But rather than following a fad diet or giving up all her favourite foods, Amanda simply made some small changes to her lifestyle and eating habits that have made a big difference.

And now, Amanda is celebrating her curves and encouraging other women to do the same.

“It’s not rocket science, I promise,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post.

Amanda says that her weight-loss journey began when she realised that she was unhappy with her body.

“I was always the biggest in my group of friends and I felt uncomfortable and self-conscious,” she explained.

“I would compare myself to other women and put myself down a lot.”

But Amanda, who is a mother of two, decided that she deserved to feel good in her own skin.

“I wanted to feel confident and happy in myself,” she said.

“I wanted to be able to look in the mirror and like what I saw.”

To help herself achieve her goals, Amanda enlisted the help of a personal trainer and nutritionist.

But she says that the changes she made to her lifestyle were not “rocket science”.

“I started by making small changes to my diet and taking up regular exercise,” she said.

“I cut out sugary drinks, reduced my portion sizes, and made sure to get plenty of protein and healthy fats.”

Amanda also started to make exercise a priority, and she now works out five or six times a week.

“Exercise has become a huge part of my life and I love it,” she said.

“I never thought I would say that!”

The television presenter says that she is now in the best shape of her life, both physically and mentally.

“I feel so much better in myself,” she said.

“I have more energy, I sleep better, and my skin is better too.”

Amanda is also celebrating her curves, and she wants other women to love their bodies too.

“I’m not trying to be skinny, I’m trying to be healthy and happy,” she said.

“And I want other women to know that they can be happy and healthy at any size.”
