A new study has found that a simple intervention can help women lose weight during menopause.
The study, published in the journal Obesity, found that a brief intervention focused on helping women change their diet and exercise habits was associated with significant weight loss.
The intervention was led by a doctor and involved two face-to-face meetings, as well as phone calls and emails.
At the start of the intervention, the women were asked to set a weight-loss goal. They were then given advice on how to eating less and exercising more.

“This is a key method that could be used by GPs and other health professionals to support women during menopause,” she said.
