‘It made me so upset!’ Woman loses huge nine stone after ‘taking up two seats’ on train

Losing weight is one of the most difficult things to do. It takes a lot of dedication, hard work and self-control. However, the rewards are definitely worth it! Not only will you look and feel better, but you will also be healthier and have more energy.

There are many different ways to lose weight, and it is important to find one that works for you. Some people prefer to diet and exercise, while others may opt for surgery or medication.

Whichever method you choose, be sure to speak with your doctor first. They can help you create a plan that is right for your individual needs and make sure you are healthy enough to safely lose weight.

A woman who was once so overweight that she was humiliated when she had to take up two seats on a train has lost an incredible nine stone.

Lisa Riley, from Manchester, was so horrified when a stranger shouted at her to ‘move over’ on a train journey that she was spurred into action.

The former Emmerdale star, who is now a size 10-12, was so large that she was unable to walk more than a few steps without being in agony.

But after making the decision to get healthy, Lisa has managed to lose an incredible nine stone – and she’s never looked back.

Lisa, who is now a size 10-12, said: “I was so embarrassed that I had to take up two seats on the train.

“The guy next to me was getting more and more irritated and then he just turned around and shouted at me, ‘move over’.

“It was so humiliating. I wanted to die. I was in so much pain, I couldn’t even walk.

“But that incident was my wake-up call. I realised that I had to do something about my weight.”

Lisa, who used to eat up to four bags of crisps a day, began following the Slimming World eating plan and attending weekly meetings.

And the weight just started falling off – prompting Lisa to make the decision to have a gastric band fitted.

Lisa, who is now a size 10-12, said: “The gastric band has been amazing. It’s helped me to eat less and has made me feel fuller for longer.

“I’ve also started to exercise more – and I now walk 10,000 steps a day.

“I’m so much happier and healthier now. I’ve got my life back.”
