Looking to shed some pounds? You’re not alone. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than one-third of American adults are obese. And many of those who are not obese are still looking to lose weight.

If you’re trying to lose weight, the first step is to cut back on your calorie intake. That means eating fewer calories than you burn off each day.

To do that, you need to know how many calories you’re eating in the first place. That can be tricky, because many of the foods we eat are processed, and the labels don’t always give an accurate picture of what’s inside.

To get a better idea of how many calories are in the foods you’re eating, try using a food tracker app like MyFitnessPal or Lose It!. These apps allow you to enter in the food you’re eating and how much of it, and they’ll give you an estimate of the calories.

Once you know how many calories you’re eating, you can start to cut back. The CDC recommends cutting back by 500-750 calories a day to lose one to two pounds a week.

Of course, cutting calories is only part of the weight-loss equation. You also need to be sure you’re getting enough exercise. The CDC recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise a week, or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise.

That can seem like a lot, but it doesn’t have to be all at once. Even 10 minutes of exercise a couple of times a day can make a difference. And it’s not just about the exercise itself. Being active can also help you to eat less, because you’re more likely to be aware of how much you’re eating when you’re up and moving around.

So if you’re looking to lose weight, the best approach is a combination of eating fewer calories and getting more exercise. And don’t get discouraged if you don’t see results right away. It takes time to lose weight, but with a little effort and patience, you can get there.

When it comes to staying slim, Princess Kate is a fan of exercise that is enjoyable.

That’s according to her longtime personal trainer, Lara Stone, who said the royal is the “perfect role model” for women over 40.

“Kate is mindful of the need to keep her energy levels up and her weight down, so she enjoys her exercise,” Stone told The Telegraph.

“It’s not a punishment for her. I think that’s why she’s such a great role model for other women of her age.”

Stone has been training Kate for more than 20 years, and said she’s always been diligent about her fitness.

“She was never one of those clients who would sigh and say, ‘Do I have to?’” Stone said.

The trainer added that Kate is “careful” about what she eats, but doesn’t deprive herself.

“She’s very careful about her diet and she eats healthily most of the time, but she doesn’t deny herself the odd treat,” Stone said.

Kate’s typical workout includes a mix of cardio and strength training, and she often does Pilates.

While she is diligent about her fitness, Stone said Kate is also realistic about her body.

“She has two small children and she knows her body has changed as a result,” Stone said.

“But she’s not trying to be something she’s not. She’s comfortable in her skin and she’s happy with the way she looks.”
